Paneer Butter Masala


Paneer Butter Masala one of the most famous paneer dish. Paneer Butter Masala is easy and quick to make. It can be best served with any Indian breads like naan, roti, paratha…etc.


Paneer                   -250 gm

Butter                      -1 tbsp

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Red color                    -3 drops (optional)

Milk for gravy         -1 cup

Salt                             – to taste

Milk to mix to spices -1 cup

Ketchup                     -1 tbsp

Tomato paste         – 1 tsp ( optional )

Kastoorimethi  powder – 1/4 tsp

Kashmiri chilli powder  -1/4 tsp

Garam masala             – 1/4 tsp

Corriander powder    – 1 tsp

Fried onions                – 1 tsp (optional)

Cooking Method

Add oil and butter in a pan.  Adding oil prevents the butter from browning too quickly .

Then add ginger garlic paste and fried onions. (or you can add fresh onions and fry till golden brown .) Its optional .

Now take a small bowl add all the masalas (chilli powder , corriander powder, garam masala , ketchup , tomato paste , kastoorimethi , color ) mix it with 1 cup  milk and add this to the pan.cover it and cook for 3 minutes .

After  3 minutes cooking  add salt , paneer  and remaining milk for gravy . (Pour little by little and adjust the thickness. )

Just make it boil and our Paneer Butter Masala is ready to serve.
